Aeroo Pro Pre-Flight Quick-Guide

Ready for Your First Drone Flight? Here’s What You Need to Know!

So, you’ve just unboxed your new Aeroo Pro drone and you’re eager to take it for its maiden voyage. Whether you're a drone enthusiast, experienced adventurer or a curious beginner, the first flight is always an exciting moment. To make sure your inaugural flight is smooth and enjoyable, we've put together some essential tips and a pre-flight checklist that you’ll find invaluable.

Preparing for Takeoff

Before you head outdoors, there are a few important preparations to make:

  1. Choose the Right Location: Head to a spacious, open park or field where there are minimal obstacles and people. This will give you plenty of room to manoeuvre and avoid potential collisions.
  2. Check Your Gear: It's crucial to ensure that everything is in top shape before you head out. Here’s what you need to verify:
    • Fully Charged Batteries: Make sure your drone, remote control, and phone are all fully charged.
    • SD Card: Insert an SD card into your drone to record videos and capture photos.
    • Gimbal Protector: Remove the gimbal protector to ensure smooth footage.
    • Safe Takeoff Area: Confirm that you are in a designated fly zone and a safe area to take off.

To help you remember all these important steps, we’ve created a handy checklist. You can find and print it from the link in the description below.

Powering Up and Pairing

Once you're out in your chosen location, follow these steps:

  1. Power On: Turn on your drone and the controller.
  2. Pair the Devices: Open the drone app on your phone and pair it with the drone. This is where you’ll set up the connection between your phone and the drone.
  3. Wait for Satellite Acquisition: Allow your drone a minute to acquire satellite signals. You’ll know it's ready when you see “Ready To Fly” on the app.
